   Russell K. Osgood is the senior partner is Osgood and Harris, LLC. He graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1962 and joined what is now the City of Boulder's third oldest law firm. His practice has always emphasized real estate, primarily in the areas of commercial sales and purchases, leasing, foreclosures, boundary line/easement disputes and IRC Sec. 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. In the last 20 to 25 years his practice has expanded to where 50 percent or more of his time is related to tax and estate planning, wills, trusts and probate. He has been certified as an Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils.

• Preparation of wills and living trusts
• Preparation of irrevocable life insurance trusts
• Formation of family limited partnerships and family limited liability companies
• Personal residence trusts
• Elder law including Medicaid planning
• Guardianships and conservatorships

Probate:

• All areas of estate administration
• Experienced staff

Business Planning:

• Formation of corporations
• Formation of limited liability companies
• Formation of partnerships, limited partnerships and their offspring - LLP's and LLLP's
• Regular business representation of small business entities
• Sales and purchase of businesses including asset and stock sales
